About a hundred km south of Lisbon, in the middle of umbrella pines, dunes of
white sand bordered by the ocean and green rice fields, is the sublime Quinta da Comporta hotel, with a "bohemian chic" look.

The hotel occupies the site of former rice warehouses, demolished then rebuilt identically, in order to blend in perfectly with its environment.
The decoration, which mixes natural materials and warm colors, is a hymn to local craftsmanship.
The dining room, open to the rice field, like a large one with immense volumes, invites you to savor an unforgettable sunset.
The entrance to the spa, with the blue outline typical of Comporta, is through the same pediment as that of the large properties in the Alentejo.
With their thatched roof and their facade in river rush, the villas are inspired by the fishermen´s huts of yesteryear and the typical houses of the region.

The 73 suites and luxury rooms with refined decoration, combine tradition and modernity. The doors are lined with canisse, woven baskets adorn the walls and sisal rugs decorate the wooden floors, where it is good to walk around barefoot. Each of the rooms opens onto a balcony or an individual terrace, offering a view of the surrounding nature.
